When twin brothers Frederik and Gerrit Braun realized their lifelong dream in 2000, they had no idea what they would create: the »Miniatur Wunderland« not only became the largest model railroad in the world, but also one of the biggest public attractions in Europe with 1.4 million visitors a year. WONDERLAND now brings this magical dream world to the big screen for the first time as a documentary event. With previously unreleased archive footage and elaborate animations that show the inventors strolling through their own Miniatur Wunderland, the film takes moviegoers on a fantastic journey.
